This week, Jill Arnold, consumer advocate and founder of The Unnecesarean and Cesarean Rates, was interviewed on Babble’s Being Pregnant blog. On her new Cesarean Rates blog, she tracks the rates of C-Section births at hospitals across the country – data that women have virtually no way of accessing without her work!
Jill has started a indiegogo campaign to support her site and help make hospital specific C-Section data available to women and their families. Why is this important? Well, it helps add to women’s knowledge about birth, delivery options, decision making, and in general, builds on birth literacy.
